ABOUT DR. HAHN
In 2007 Dr. Hahn attained a doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco (American Psychological Association approved program). Dr. Hahn's pre-doctoral internship was completed at Alameda Family Services and his post-doctoral fellowship at Kaiser Permanente's Chemical Dependence Recovery Program (CDRP) in San Francisco.
In 2000, Dr. Hahn attained a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Saint Michael's College (Vermont), where he competed nationally for four years on the NCAA Division I ski team. Dr. Hahn was previously employed as a senior psychologist at Napa State Hospital, where he was also appointed co-chair of the psychology department and served as a member of the medical executive committee. In addition to performing evaluations in the Forensic Services Division at Napa State Hospital, Dr. Hahn worked on a locked inpatient unit with severely mentally ill individuals who often presented with profound behavioral disturbance. Dr. Hahn previously worked as a psychologist for the San Francisco City & County Jail Psychiatric Services, where he supervised and trained various graduate students, and worked in the counseling center at the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, CA. Dr. Hahn's work in various settings has significantly contributed to his ability to think creatively about complex problems and conceptualize his clients on various levels. |
